Things like current activities, local events, some of the features that make Naples the paradise of Florida, and perhaps continental US. Golf courses, the Philharmonic, etc. Actually, Naples is also called the "Platinum Coast" of Florida. Gold, silver, etc. are just not good enough for us. We are really not a bunch of rich snobs...well at least not snobs. Ft. Myers, thirty miles to our North, is called "The Island Coast" and the City of Ft Myers is called "The City of Palms." We are 20 miles from Florida Gulf Coast University, and the Southwest Florida International Airport, which is totally new.30 miles from nationally acclaimed Corkscrew Sanctuary run by the Audubon Society. 50 miles from the Missasucee Indian Reservation, one and half hours to Ft.
